This Benchmade Shootout features a PVD coated CPM Cru-Wear tanto blade, and a CF-Elite handle with a carbide glass breaker and ambidextrous deep carry clip. CF-Elite, which is carbon fiber weaved nylon, has an extremely high strength to weight ratio. Don't let the incredibly light weight of this knife fool you!
The slightly raised thumb slider offers an excellent contact during blade deployment and retraction. A portion of the handle has also been aggressively textured to offer a very secure hold when slicing.
