The Microtech MSI (Microtech Standard Issue) is a milestone release, marking the debut of Microtech’s proprietary RAM-LOK crossbar locking system. Released in 2023, the MSI is a USA-made hard-use folder that delivers serious performance, versatility, and Microtech-grade quality at an unbeatable value.
 
The RAM-LOK takes cues from Microtech’s iconic Ultratech actuation with a unique step-textured bar for excellent tactile feedback. You can deploy the blade three ways: thumb roll, reverse flick via the oversized blade cutout, or simply pull the RAM-LOK down and flick it open. Smooth, responsive, and glove-friendly.
 
The modified sheepsfoot blade is made from ultra-premium Böhler M390MK stainless steel with a black finish and flat grind—ideal for slicing, push cuts, and controlled work. The Claw Burst Camo Tri-Grip polymer handle is lightweight, ergonomic, and provides solid traction in any grip. Stainless steel liners add strength without bulk, and the ambidextrous deep-carry pocket clip ensures convenient EDC.
