This version features a 3.45" Bohler M390MK tanto blade—now with a blood groove (fuller) for added structural strength and sleek style. A crowned spine, thumb ramp jimping, and reinforced tip give the blade superior control and piercing power. The black finish is tough enough to handle daily carry and demanding fieldwork.
 
The tan aluminum handle is lightweight, rugged, and CNC-machined for precision. 3M traction inserts add a secure grip without sacrificing comfort or aesthetics. With 24 silica carbide bearings in the pivot, deployment is instant and buttery smooth. The redesigned button lock and pocket clip are tighter and more streamlined than ever before.
 
Built with Torx hardware and a dedicated lanyard hole, the Gen III is more modular and ready for secure attachment. Designed by Tony Marfione and made in the USA, the new LUDT continues Microtech’s legacy of making some of the best automatic knives in the world.
