Designed with the philosophy that “if it’s not with you, it can’t save you,” the Doug Ritter RSK Mk5 is a compact survival blade built for true worst-case scenarios. This used knife has been lightly carried and shows minor signs of wear, but it remains fully functional and ready to serve.
Developed by survival expert Doug Ritter—founder of the Equipped to Survive website—this ultra-lightweight fixed blade is based on the Shrewd Survival Knife by Georgia knifemaker David White, created in collaboration with Dr. Andrew Osbourne. The Mk5 is meant for stash-away carry in kits, pouches, or even mint tins—but when you need it, you’ll be glad it’s there.
With a 1.75" drop point blade made from 3Cr13 stainless steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant stonewash, the Mk5 is suited for survival essentials like making fuzz sticks, gutting fish, or dressing game. The skeletonized steel handle provides a two-finger grip, and the included adjustable lanyard adds extra control when you need it.
This used knife includes its glass-reinforced nylon sheath and the original mint tin, perfect for building out a compact survival kit.
